There are now more AI marketing tools than any one person can reasonably test. I know because we've tried a lot of them — building 60+ automation workflows for clients means we run into every tool in the ecosystem eventually.
This list is not scraped from a listicle. These are tools we've actually used, recommended to clients, or built automation workflows around. I'll tell you what each one is genuinely good at, what it's bad at, and who it makes sense for.

Lead Generation
Lead Swift by AgentMinds
AI-powered B2B lead discovery. Find up to 100 qualified leads in 60 seconds by describing your ideal customer — industry, role, company size, location. Designed specifically for the Indian market, so the data quality on India-based companies is significantly better than tools built for the US market.
Best for: Indian startups doing outbound, agencies building prospect lists, founders doing their own sales.

Lead Swift's Lead Discovery dashboard — find qualified prospects by industry, location and role in seconds.
Try Lead Swift free →Apollo.io
The most complete B2B database tool available. 270 million contacts, email sequences, CRM integration, LinkedIn extension. If you need raw volume and global coverage, Apollo is hard to beat.
The gap: India-specific data is patchy, and $49/month is expensive for early-stage Indian startups. For global outbound, it's excellent. For India-focused prospecting, Lead Swift gives you better local data at a fraction of the price.
Best for: Funded startups doing global outbound.
Clay.com
Data enrichment meets workflow automation. Clay lets you build tables that pull from 100+ data sources simultaneously — LinkedIn, Clearbit, Hunter, and more. Then you run AI agents on the data to research, score, and personalise at scale.
Genuinely powerful. Also genuinely complex — expect to spend a week learning it properly. Not for non-technical users.
Best for: Growth teams and RevOps who want maximum enrichment depth.
Content Creation
AgentMinds Dashboard
13 AI agents in one workspace — blog writer, SEO specialist, campaign planner, email copywriter, LinkedIn enhancer, ad copy generator, social media strategist. Credit-based model so you only pay for what you use.
What makes it different from generic AI writing tools: each agent is trained on marketing-specific outputs, not just general text generation. The campaign planner actually builds a proper campaign structure. The SEO specialist does keyword research, not just suggests headings.

A real n8n marketing automation workflow — from scheduled trigger through Google Search, data processing, website scraping, email extraction, and automatic Sheet population.
Best for: Solo founders and lean marketing teams who need a full marketing function but can't afford to hire one.
Try the Dashboard free →Jasper
The original AI content platform. Good for long-form blog posts, ad copy, and email sequences. Has brand voice training so outputs stay consistent. Jasper has lost some ground to ChatGPT and Claude for raw writing quality, but its marketing-specific templates and workflow integrations are still useful.
Best for: Marketing teams that need consistent brand voice across high volumes of content.
Copy.ai
Faster and simpler than Jasper. Good for short-form: ads, subject lines, social posts, product descriptions. The GTM (Go-to-Market) workflows are underrated — they chain multiple AI tasks together for things like full product launches or competitive positioning.
Best for: Founders and marketers who need good output fast without much setup.
SEO and Content Strategy
Surfer SEO
Real-time content optimisation. Paste your draft, get told exactly which keywords to include, how long to make it, how many headings to use — based on what's actually ranking for your target keyword today. The Content Score feature is blunt and useful.
Best for: Anyone serious about blog content ranking. Non-negotiable if SEO is a core acquisition channel.
Ahrefs (or Semrush)
Keyword research, backlink analysis, competitor tracking, site audits. These are table-stakes tools for SEO. Expensive, but if you're investing in organic traffic, you need one of them. Ahrefs has better backlink data. Semrush has better keyword research and a broader feature set.
Best for: Startups where SEO is a primary growth channel.
Marketing Automation
n8n
The tool we build everything on. Open-source workflow automation that connects any app, runs AI models, and handles complex logic. The learning curve is real but the payoff is significant — once you know n8n, you can automate almost anything.

The AgentMinds Dashboard — 13 specialist marketing AI agents in one workspace. Select an agent and start creating.
Best for: Technical founders and teams who want to own their automation stack.
Read our full n8n marketing automation guide →Make (formerly Integromat)
Visual workflow automation with 3,000+ app integrations. Easier than n8n for beginners, more powerful than Zapier for complex logic. The price is genuinely good — $9/month for a meaningful free tier upgrade.
Best for: Non-technical teams who need more than Zapier but don't want to manage n8n.
ActiveCampaign
Email + CRM + automation in one platform. The automation builder is the best in class for email sequences — visual, flexible, and reliable. Behaviour-based triggers (opens, clicks, site visits) work well. Gets expensive as your list grows.
Best for: Startups with an email-heavy go-to-market strategy.
Analytics and Reporting
Databox
Pull data from Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, HubSpot, LinkedIn, and 70+ other sources into one dashboard. The free tier is genuinely useful. The pre-built templates get you up and running in 20 minutes.
Best for: Founders who want a single marketing dashboard without hiring an analyst.
Hotjar
Heatmaps, session recordings, and user surveys. Tells you where users click, where they drop off, and what they're confused about. Not AI in the traditional sense, but increasingly AI-assisted for analysis. Essential for improving conversion rates on landing pages.
Best for: Any startup with a product or marketing website where conversion matters.
Social Media
Buffer
Simple social media scheduling. Write posts, schedule them, see basic analytics. The AI assistant writes post variations from a prompt. Not the most powerful tool on this list, but it costs almost nothing and does its job reliably.
Best for: Founders managing their own social presence who just need a scheduler.
Taplio (LinkedIn-specific)
LinkedIn content creation and scheduling, specifically. Tracks your post performance, suggests content ideas based on what's working in your niche, and has an AI writer trained on high-performing LinkedIn formats. If LinkedIn is a core acquisition channel for you, it's worth the price.
Best for: B2B founders and consultants building a LinkedIn audience.

The tools are only as good as the workflows you build around them. That's the part most guides skip — and the part we specialise in at AgentMinds.
